Voiced by Amazon Polly provides insight into whether or not you need a letter from your primary care physician.

GP care in the Netherlands is under pressure. The workload for GPs has increased in recent years due to an aging population, population growth and an increasing administrative burden. Many physicians are considering retiring (earlier) and the influx of new GPs is too low to make up the difference.

Saving time in GP care has never been more important for these reasons. With we want to prevent unnecessary paperwork and redundant bureaucracy. We do this by providing better information about situations in which the involvement of the GP is actually not necessary or desirable.
